Tossa de Mar, is more of a family resort, with lot's of nightime entertainment, being provided by Hotels. The nearby town of Lloret de Mar, is a different scene all together.
If your looking for Open all night bars, then Tossa de Mar, is not for you. You are more likely to get a quiet night in a restaurant, than spend the midnight hours, drinking and dancing away.

Trip Advisor, has some great comments from people who have visited Tossa de Mar, in recent years. Most people have the same view, stay in Tossa de Mar for it's nice restaurants, and have a trip over to Lloret de Mar, for the Nightclubs. Lloret de Mar, is not getting the kindest of reviews, with one person saying its "Nasty".

Tossa de Mar Nightlife does exist, but it's not for the 18 to 30's.

Their are so many places to see in and around Tossa de Mar, that any person of any age can enjoy this great resort. When most people visit the area, the tend to stay quite close to the centre of the resort, hitting the bars and getting tanned on the beach or beside the pool. Renting a car in Tossa is simple, their are many car rental agencies that can rent you a car for 1 day or several. Barcelona, Girona and other several Costa Brava resorts are in a short driving distance. At the very top of Costa Brava is Roses and Empuriabrava, two fantastic beach front towns with amazing Shops, Sports Activities, Historical Sights and more.

On Spains Costa Brava and home to some of the most amazing sea views in all of Spain, Tossa de Mar, is out of this world. If your visiting Tossa in the near future, don't just stay in the centre of town, hiring a car for around 30 euros per day and you can drive out into the near region and see some of Tossa's famous and well known scenery.
